For SIX seasons now we have all been able to gasp and giggle at the woman that many love to hate:

WENDY WILLIAMS!!!

Say what you want about Wendy, but she has held down a career in journalism for the past 25 years! Not to mention her show is being picked up for a 7th season. All the Hot Topics we love as well as her infamous interviews are here to stay!

Today I was able to witness what it is like to be in the audience for a live taping of Wendy Williams show. It was an amazing time to say the least!

7:50 a.m.

Lined up outside the studio for 8:00 a.m. entrance. All of these people came to see Wendy!

8:00 a.m.

I’m in!!

8:45 a.m.

After going through security, my Spelman sister and I are in the lobby writing down our questions for “Ask Wendy.”

My question was actually chosen and I was taken backstage to rehearse! Unfortunately the segment was cut due to time constraints. Womp Womp!

My question was way too juicy to show 😀

10:00 a.m.

Let the show begin!! In addition to Hot Topics Wendy interviewed actress Teyonah Parris who stars in Spike Lee’s upcoming film “Chi-Raq.” This will be out Dec. 4th ya’ll!!

Can’t forget the hype man who had us twerking in our chairs during commercial breaks!

11:20 a.m.

We (the audience) provided sound as Wendy did promos for upcoming shows. The experience was LIVE and if ever in NYC you must attend a taping! I got a personal pic with Wendy because I’m a BOSS! (j/p I had a front row seat!)
